Many people are asking about the possible contamination of their well water from the gas drilling projects which are occuring around the area. It is the township's opinion that people should have their well water professionally tested now by a contractor(at the residents expense) before the drilling and work begins. This will establish a base line and help in the future if there are any doubts about the condition of your well water.

ATTENTION: The 911 readdressing questionnaires have been mailed out for our region(5). It is crucial that the information from our residents, on the questionnaries, is returned to MSAG Data Consultants in Orange, Virginia, ASAP. There is a WEB site that MSAG has created to make it easier for residents to get this information back to the consultants.
